well, hello friends!
i promise that i will soon write more in-depth posts...
i spilled hot tea ALL over my macbook last night and it was devastating. maybe devastating is a bit too dramatic, but it was intensely horrible. anyhoo, anyone watching (emily) would've deemed mr. mac ruined and it definitely wasn't showing any signs of life. i took out the battery and let it dry off a bit. i also placed mac in front of a fan all night in hopes that it would work by the time the rooster crowed. i tried everything i could this morning, but all i got was nothing. i was considering a burial.
all of us Emmanuel interns are reading the Pursuit of God by A.W. Tozer, which you all should read! tozer has an awesome quote talking about having eveything you want, but letting nothing possess you, and that really convicted me today. yes, mac is booty expensive and amazing, but it's just a thing. i want nothing more than to possess only God. i want him to fill my heart to the brim so that nothing else can break in.
right after devos, em and i were talking about turtles in my room and mac turned on. it's like he never got 1st degree burns...
God is good and provides in all situations. love him.

i didn't feel clever enough to come up with a legit title, so i just typed in what i was listening to. hope you're ok with that. wow. crazy week, eh? i have to pack, and fail 2 finals before friday. no, hopefully i'll at least get a C or something similar to a C that's not a D or an F.
